Get ready to summon your spookiest tales. Dictionary.com's Haunting Hooks writing contest returns for Halloween 2024 with the Scary Monster Edition and the spellbinding storytellers Dan and Lynze Cummins from the Scared To Death podcast!
From October 1-13, we challenge you to write an original opening to a scary monster story in 50 words or less.
The winner will be chosen by guest judges Dan and Lynze, and will receive: - Their story read aloud on a Scared To Death podcast episode and shared across Dictionary.com channels
